BOGOTA, March 5 (Xinhua) -- Colombian President Gustavo Petro on Thursday urged U.S. President Donald Trump to "withdraw from the armed conflict against Iran" and work for peace.
Petro said on X that Trump should exit the conflict and "make a pact for life and freedom in the Middle East."
"What unites us is freedom, life, and peace," he said.
Petro said that his country is willing to offer everything they can to achieve peace in the Caribbean, in Colombia and in the Middle East. ■
