BEIJING, March 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted 217 km ESE of Attu Station, Alaska, at 2346 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 1 km, was initially determined to be at 52.00 degrees north latitude and 176.07 degrees east longitude. ■
