ULAN BATOR, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- The "Hello! China" Panda Temple Fair -- 2026 Year of the Horse Spring Festival celebration and Jiangxi Intangible Cultural Heritage market were held on Saturday in Mongolia's capital of Ulan Bator.
Addressing the event, Li Zhi, a counselor of the Chinese embassy in Mongolia and director of the Chinese Cultural Center in Ulan Bator, stated that over the past year, the "Hello! China" national tourism image has been comprehensively promoted, attracting more and more international friends to visit and experience China, gaining a true, multifaceted and comprehensive understanding of China.
"From mutual visits and performances by cultural troupes to in-depth study programs for young sinologists, from mutual translation and publication of books to exchanges and exhibitions of intangible cultural heritage, China-Mongolia cultural cooperation has yielded fruitful results, bringing the people of both countries closer and stronger through cultural ties," he added.
Ganzorig Dashnyam, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia, noted that pandas are messengers of peace and friendship, while horses symbolize struggle and progress.
In recent years, cooperation between Mongolia and China in the field of culture and tourism has continued to expand, and the exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in more areas will continue to deepen, become more practical and move steadily forward, he said.
The event was co-hosted by the China Cultural Center in Ulan Bator, the China Center of International Cultural Exchange and Tourism Promotion and the Jiangxi provincial department of culture and tourism. ■
