BEIJING, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 jolted the near coast of central Chile at 1334 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 30.78 degrees south latitude and 71.60 degrees west longitude. ■
