YANGON, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar exported over 2.32 million tons of rice and broken rice in the first 10 months, from April last year to January this year, of the current fiscal year 2025-26, according to the Myanmar Rice Federation on Tuesday.
The Southeast Asian country earned about 735 million U.S. dollars from the exports during the 10 months, the federation's data showed.
During the period, the country exported rice and broken rice via both sea and land routes to more than 30 countries, it said.
In the fiscal year 2024-25, the country exported 2.48 million tons of rice and broken rice, the federation said. ■
