TOKYO, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Three people were found dead after a fire destroyed a two-story home in Nagano Prefecture, central Japan, early Saturday morning, Kyodo News reported, citing the police.
An emergency call was made at around 5:35 a.m. local time to report the fire, and the blaze was extinguished about two and a half hours later.
Police said a couple in their 60s and their daughter in her 30s were living at the house and have been unreachable since the fire. Authorities are working to confirm the identities of the deceased and are investigating the cause of the fire. ■
