SEOUL, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Two workers remain unaccounted for after a fire broke out Friday afternoon at a household goods manufacturing factory in Eumseong County, North Chungcheong province in South Korea.
A total of 81 of the factory's 83 employees were immediately evacuated, YTN reported.
According to the report, the two missing workers are a man in his 20s from Nepal and a man in his 50s from Uzbekistan. Fire authorities have raised the emergency response to Level 2 and are continuing firefighting and search efforts.
Authorities said the factory produces wet wipes and diapers and does not handle hazardous chemicals. An investigation into the cause and damage will be conducted once the fire is brought under control. ■
