SEOUL, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- A fire broke out Friday afternoon at a household goods manufacturing factory in Eumseong County, North Chungcheong Province in South Korea, Yonhap News Agency reported.
No casualties have been reported so far. Fire authorities said a Level 2 emergency response was issued, with 105 personnel, 56 pieces of equipment, and four helicopters deployed to contain the blaze.
Authorities said the factory produces wet wipes and diapers and does not handle hazardous chemicals. An investigation into the cause and damage will be conducted once the fire is brought under control. ■
