ISLAMABAD, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed in a bomb blast in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Wednesday, local police said.
The explosion occurred in the Wara Mamund area of Bajaur district, an official from the local police station told Xinhua.
Police cordoned off the area, collected evidence from the site, and launched a formal investigation to determine the nature of the blast and those responsible, the official said.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast yet. ■
