KABUL, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- A three-day industrial and commercial exhibition showcasing domestic products has been inaugurated in Trinkot, the capital city of Afghanistan's southern Uruzgan province, aiming to support local production, strengthen the economy, attract investment, and promote trade fairs, the local media Tolo news reported Sunday.
The report said the exhibition was organized by a private company in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and features around 50 types of locally produced goods and products.
Such exhibitions encourage domestic industries, create market opportunities for local producers, and enhance economic activities across the country.
The event has drawn participation from local entrepreneurs and businesses, highlighting the growing role of homegrown products in Afghanistan's economic development. ■
