Urgent: Japan PM Takaichi to dissolve lower house on Jan. 23 for snap election

TOKYO, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on Monday told a press conference that she will dissolve the House of Representatives on Jan. 23 at the beginning of the ordinary parliamentary session for a snap general election. ■
