RABAT, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Senegal advanced into the CAF Africa Cup of Nations final after edging Egypt 1-0 on Wednesday, while host nation Morocco beat Nigeria 4-2 on penalties.
At Tangier's Ibn Batouta Stadium, Sadio Mane scored the only goal with just over ten minutes left to secure Senegal's third final appearance in the last four AFCON tournaments since 2019.
After a goalless 120 minutes at Rabat's Moulay Abdellah Stadium, Morocco edged Nigeria in a penalty shootout to reach its first AFCON final since 2004.
The final will be played on Sunday at Moulay Abdellah Stadium. ■
