KIEV, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday signed a decree to reshuffle the composition of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Headquarters, the presidential press service said.
Under the decree, Sergiy Boyev, deputy defense minister; Kyrylo Budanov, head of the presidential office; and Oleh Ivashchenko, chief of defense intelligence, were appointed as new members of the headquarters.
The decree also removed Serhii Deineko, former head of the State Border Guard Service, from the body.
Chaired by the president, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Headquarters is a coordinating body that exercises strategic control over the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations during martial law. ■
