Ling Jihe, a rural entrepreneur in Anyi County, distributed year-end bonuses totaling 21.29 million yuan (about 3.05 million U.S. dollars) to his team on Friday, extending his 15-year tradition of rewarding outstanding farmers.
Since founding an agricultural company in 2010, Ling has been hiring local farmers to cultivate land under the company's management. Farmers receive a basic monthly salary in advance, with year-end bonuses tied to annual output performance. The company also provides a full range of services including seed selection, sowing, weeding and harvesting. In 2025, Ling's team achieved a grain output of 63.5 million kilograms. (Xinhua/Zhou Mi)
