LAS VEGAS, United States, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- The 2026 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world's premier technology event, opened Tuesday in Las Vegas, U.S. state of Nevada.

Running through Friday, the annual show has attracted thousands of exhibitors from more than 155 countries and regions, according to the U.S. Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizer.

More than 400 conference sessions are scheduled during the four-day event, featuring over 1,300 speakers from across the global technology industry.

Top trends of this year's show include artificial intelligence, digital health, energy, mobility and robotics, according to the CTA.

CES 2026 is expected to serve as a platform for the global tech community to explore emerging trends, foster collaboration, and address major global challenges.

"CES 2026 is where the world's boldest innovators come together to shape what's next," said CTA President Kinsey Fabrizio. "From visionary keynotes to breakthrough product debuts, CES brings together the biggest names in technology, entertainment, and global business."
