PYONGYANG, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- Kim Jong Un, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), visited a major munition enterprise on Sunday to learn about the production of weapons and combat equipment, the official Korean Central News Agency reported Tuesday.
Kim learned about the production of multiple rocket launchers to be equipped by major units of the Korean People's Army, said the report.
The multiple rocket system, which will be the main strike means of the DPRK military force, would completely change the composition of the artillery force, Kim was quoted as saying.
He also called for further expanding the successes achieved this year and achieving greater successes in bolstering defense capabilities in 2026, said the report. ■
