ABIDJAN, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- The Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace, the ruling party of Cote d'Ivoire, has secured a large majority in the National Assembly, winning 197 of the 255 seats following Saturday's legislative elections, according to the Independent Electoral Commission on Monday. ■
