BEIJING, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted Mariana Islands at 2306 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 159.4 km, was initially determined to be at 14.36 degrees north latitude and 145.98 degrees east longitude. ■
