BANGKOK, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's Election Commission on Monday announced it has approved a plan to hold the country's general election for members of the House of Representatives on Feb. 8, 2026.
The announcement follows a royal decree dissolving the lower house of parliament, which took effect last Friday, mandating the commission to organize a general election. ■
