KATHMANDU, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- Nepali President Ram Chandra Poudel on Friday administered the oath of office to four ministers of Sushila Karki's interim government during a televised ceremony at the President's Office.

Kumar Ingnam, a law professor, was appointed minister of land management, cooperatives and poverty alleviation, while former senior police officer Rajendra Singh Bhandari was assigned the portfolio of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security.

Likewise, Madhav Prasad Chaulagain, a writer, is the new minister for forest and environment, and Shraddha Shrestha, an official at the Nepal Tourism Board, is the minister for women, children, and senior citizens.

This is the fourth expansion of the cabinet since Karki was appointed prime minister on Sept. 12, bringing her cabinet size to 14.
