ISLAMABAD, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- Pakistani security forces killed nine terrorists in two intelligence-based operations in the country's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said Saturday.
The operations were carried out in Tank and Lakki Marwat districts, the Inter-Services Public Relations, the media wing of the Pakistani military, said in a statement.
Seven militants were killed in the operation in Tank, while two more were eliminated in Lakki Marwat during exchanges of fire, the statement said, adding that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the militants. ■
