JERUSALEM, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Six Israeli soldiers were wounded overnight in a clash in the southern Syrian village of Beit Jinn, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement on Friday.
Among the wounded, three are in serious condition, it said.
Israel's state-owned Kan TV News said the two suspects had previously planted explosives and were involved in launching projectiles at Israel.
The IDF claimed that the suspects had advanced attacks against Israeli civilians and were taken into custody. It added that the wounded soldiers were evacuated to a hospital, while several local militants were killed. ■
