BANGKOK, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- The Michelin Guide unveiled its Thailand 2026 edition on Thursday, with 10 additional star-rated dining venues, including the country's second restaurant to receive the three-star accolade.

The world-renowned restaurant guide has chosen 468 establishments in Thailand for its Michelin Selection list, which ranges from street food vendors to luxury fine-dining eateries across the Southeast Asian nation.

Under a partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the annual revelation ceremony held in Bangkok highlighted ongoing joint efforts to promote the country's vibrant cultural scene and gastronomic richness on the global stage.

The partnership with the Michelin Guide since 2017 has helped Thailand strengthen its culinary landscape, elevate its tourism industry, and support a broader economy, TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool said at the event.

Thapanee underscored that the launch of the next year's guide is a complement to the TAT direction, focusing on value over volume and positioning the kingdom as a destination where visitors can experience a blend of rich heritage, natural beauty, world-class cuisine, and warm hospitality.

"Thailand remains a vibrant destination for unique and diverse culinary experiences," said Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guide. "With the growing number of Michelin Stars, Thailand shines ever brighter on the global gastronomic map."
