KABUL, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- The Afghan government has launched a power supply network valued at over 442,000 U.S. dollars in the eastern Logar Province, the state-run Bakhtar News Agency reported on Wednesday.
The power network aims to provide reliable electricity for local residents and is expected to support households, businesses, and essential services in the province's Charkh District, the report said.
The Afghan government has emphasized that such projects are crucial for long-term economic stability, social development, and improved quality of life in remote provinces. ■
