KABUL, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Counter-narcotics police confiscated 10 kg of crystal methamphetamine along with a quantity of heroin in eastern Ghazni province, the Ministry of Interior Affairs announced on Tuesday.
The illicit drugs were uncovered during routine security operations on the outskirts of Ghazni City, the provincial capital, according to a ministry statement.
One suspect was arrested in connection with the seizure, and his case has been referred to judicial authorities for further investigation and prosecution.
In a related operation on Sunday, police across multiple provinces seized 91 kg of various narcotics, including 5 kg of crystal meth and arrested 21 suspected traffickers. ■
