HANOI, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Torrential rains triggered landslides across central Vietnam, causing deaths, injuries and leaving some missing, Vietnam News Agency reported Monday.
A bus was struck by landslides in Khanh Hoa Province, killing seven people and leaving one person unaccounted for, the news agency said.
In the central city of Da Nang, three people remained missing following another landslide.
Flooding has cut off sections of major roads in Quang Tri Province, Hue City, and Dak Lak Province, with water depths reaching up to 1 meter in several areas.
According to the report, a bridge collapsed in Quang Ngai Province, isolating more than 280 households. ■
