NEW DELHI, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Casualties were feared after a massive explosion rocked a police station in Indian-controlled Kashmir on Friday night, police said.
The blast took place at the Nowgam police station in Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
The explosion triggered a fire that engulfed the building and several vehicles parked inside its premises. Fire tenders and ambulances rushed to the scene immediately.
The cause of the explosion was not clear, though local media reports suggested it may have been accidental. ■
