COLOMBO, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- Sri Lanka's benchmark All Share Price Index (ASPI) reached a record high of 23,502.59 points on Monday.
The ASPI gained 164.34 points, or 0.70 percent, while the S&P SL20 index, which tracks the performance of the 20 largest and most liquid stocks, rose 118.57 points, or 1.86 percent, to close at 6,500.04.
Market turnover stood at 7.52 billion rupees, with a total share volume of approximately 252.96 million shares traded. ■
