ISLAMABAD, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- Security forces killed four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Kalat district of Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, the military said on Tuesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the army, the operation was conducted on Saturday night following reports of the presence of terrorists in the area.
"During the operation, the troops effectively engaged the terrorists' location, and resultantly four terrorists were killed," it said.
The ISPR said that security forces and law enforcement agencies would continue counter-terrorism campaigns to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism. ■
