BANGKOK, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- Thailand recorded investment from foreign film production worth 2,586.83 million baht (79.64 million U.S. dollars) in October, marking the highest single-month revenue so far this year, official data showed on Monday.
According to the Thailand Film Office, 56 international productions were granted permits to film in the Southeast Asian country last month.
For the first 10 months of 2025, 451 foreign productions have filmed in the kingdom, contributing 6,786.22 million baht in spending within the Thai economy, the office said in a statement.
The robust statistics reflected Thailand's potential and growing capabilities as a "world-class film destination," attracting a steady stream of international projects, the office said. ■
