NEW DELHI, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- The death toll in the road accident in India's western state Rajasthan state rose to 13, confirmed state's Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar on Monday.
Death toll was feared to rise since some of the injured persons were reportedly in a critical condition.
A speeding truck had mowed down several vehicles in Rajasthan's capital city Jaipur, resulting in the human casualties.
The truck driver was reportedly drunk. He was arrested by the local police.
"Out of the 10 injured, six are critical and the others have minor injuries," the health minister told media persons. ■
