KABUL, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- A total of 400 Afghan youths joined the national army after completing a three-month military training course, an army spokesman in the eastern region, Abdulhaq Wafa, said on Monday.
All the 400 graduates received their certificates in a graduation ceremony, and the trainees also received instruction in the use of light and heavy weapons, Wafa said.
That was the second batch of Afghan youths who have joined Afghanistan's national army in the past week. ■
