HANOI, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- A landslide triggered by persistent rains left one person dead and damaged a livestock farm in central Vietnam's Da Nang city on Monday morning, Vietnam News Agency reported.
According to the report, the landslide sent soil and rocks sliding down a mountain slope for about 2 km long, and around 5 km away from residential areas.
Local authorities and rescue forces have recovered the victim's body and are relocating residents living near the affected area to safer places, the report added. ■
