BEIJING, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted 106 km SSW of Severo-Kuril’sk, Russia at 0355 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 60.3 km, was initially determined to be at 49.75 degrees north latitude and 155.77 degrees east longitude. ■
