MINSK, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- Belarusian international reserve assets rose by 7 percent over September 2025, the National Bank of Belarus said on Friday.
Belarusian international reserve assets stood at 13.28 billion U.S. dollars as of Oct. 1, 2025, increasing by 871.7 million dollars, following a rise of more than 470 million dollars in August.
Foreign currency and monetary gold account for the largest shares in Belarus' international reserve assets structure. As per the National Bank's data, foreign currency reserves totaled 5.24 billion dollars as of Oct. 1, up 176.1 million dollars (3.5 percent) from the previous month, while monetary gold reserves reached 6.63 billion dollars, increasing by 690.4 million dollars (11.6 percent).
In line with monetary policy targets, Belarus' international reserve assets are expected to reach at least 7.1 billion dollars by the end of 2025. ■
