MOSCOW, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- Russia's National Wealth Fund (NWF) is expected to reach 13.6 trillion rubles, or 6.3 percent of the country's gross domestic product (GDP), by the end of 2025, according to government documents submitted to the State Duma on Monday.
The projected size of the fund will increase from 12,757.2 billion rubles to 13,637 billion rubles, representing an increase of 879.8 billion rubles, the documents showed. The growth is mainly attributed to a more favorable outlook for oil and gas revenues as well as additional income from the sector.
Data from the Ministry of Finance showed that the NWF stood at 13.14 trillion rubles, or 5.9 percent of GDP, as of Sept. 1. ■
