TOKYO, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- Japan's Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) on Tuesday decided to hold a full-scale leadership vote on Oct. 4, to choose the successor to Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba.
The election will be conducted in a "full-scale" format, including votes from both lawmakers and rank-and-file members. ■
