BUENOS AIRES, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Braian Martinez struck a 102nd-minute equalizer as Tigre salvaged a 1-1 home draw with Independiente Rivadavia in Argentina's Primera Division on Friday.
Franco Amarfil put the visitors ahead by pouncing on a loose ball and lashing a powerful 12-yard effort that beat goalkeeper Felipe Zenobio at his near post.
Martinez then put his side on level terms as he converted a penalty after Jabes Saralegui was brought down by Thomas Ortega.
Tigre is now seventh in the Clausura tournament's 15-team Group A standings, three points ahead of 13th-placed Independiente Rivadavia.
In Friday's only other match, Ignacio Tapia also scored late to earn Barracas Central a 1-1 home draw with Defensa y Justicia.
Juan Miritello had given the visitors the lead on the hour before Tapia fired home from close range after combining with Facundo Bruera.
Barracas remains top of Group A with 11 points, two ahead of second-placed Defensa y Justicia. ■
