YANGON, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- A 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck Sagaing region, Myanmar, at about 11:26 a.m. local time on Friday, the country's Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) reported.
According to the DMH, the epicenter was located about 19.3 km southwest of Kalay town in Sagaing region.
The epicenter, with a depth of 22 km, was initially determined to be at 23.05 degrees north latitude and 93.95 degrees east longitude, the DMH said. ■
