ISLAMABAD, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- Pakistani central bank's foreign exchange reserves rose by 13 million U.S. dollars, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.

The central bank's reserves stood at 14.25 billion U.S. dollars during the week ending on Aug. 15, the SBP said in a statement.

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were recorded at 5.31 billion dollars, it said.

The country's total liquid foreign reserves stood at 19.57 billion dollars, the statement added.
