DHAKA, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- The Bangladeshi government has raised its export target by 16.5 percent to 63.5 billion U.S. dollars for the current fiscal 2025-2026 year from July 2025 to June 2026.
Bangladeshi Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin made the announcement at a press conference here on Tuesday.
According to the minister, 55 billion dollars will come from goods exports and 8.5 billion dollars from the service sector. The adviser expressed the hope that the export target is achievable. ■
