NEW DELHI, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- At least 11 persons, including seven children and four women, died and 12 others were injured when the private vehicle they were aboard collided with a heavy vehicle parked by the roadside in India's western state of Rajasthan on Wednesday, a local police officer said.
The private vehicle was said to be moving in a high speed when it rammed into the stationary heavy vehicle from behind.
There were 31 persons in the ill-fated vehicle when the accident occurred. ■
