SINGAPORE, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX) rose 7.1 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of 2025, extending the 3.3 percent growth recorded in the previous quarter, according to data released by Enterprise Singapore on Tuesday.
Non-electronics NODX posted year-on-year growth for the second consecutive quarter, while electronics exports expanded for the 5th straight quarter.
Non-oil re-exports surged 24.9 percent in the second quarter, following an 8.2 percent increase in the first quarter. Growth was broad-based across both electronic and non-electronic segments.
Overall, Singapore's total merchandise trade rose 7.1 percent year-on-year in the second quarter, accelerating from a 4.8 percent increase in the prior quarter. ■
