KABUL, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- Afghan security forces have found a 13-year-old boy dead after being kidnapped by unidentified armed men in Gardiz city, the provincial capital of east Afghanistan's Paktia province, the local media TOLOnews reported Sunday.
The boy was "brutally killed," the report said, adding that local authorities have launched an investigation and no one has been arrested in connection with the case yet.
The Afghan interim government has vowed to ensure security and taken actions against criminals disturbing public order. ■
