HANOI, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam collected over 1.5 quadrillion Vietnamese dong (57.2 billion U.S. dollars) in state budget revenue during the first seven months of this year, reaching 79.9 percent of the full-year target, the Vietnam News Agency reported Tuesday, citing data from the Ministry of Finance.
Domestic revenue rose 31.6 percent year-on-year to more than 1.3 quadrillion dong (49.6 billion dollars).
In contrast, crude oil revenue dropped by 17.2 percent to about 28.5 trillion dong (1.08 billion dollars), according to the report.
Revenue from import-export activities during the January-July period was estimated at 179.5 trillion dong (6.8 billion dollars), equivalent to 76.4 percent of the annual projection and marking a 9.7 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Vietnam has set a state budget revenue target of over 1.9 quadrillion dong (72.5 billion dollars) for 2025. ■
