BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Brunei's Legislative Council meeting discussed a whole-of-nation approach to realizing Brunei Vision 2035, which requires cooperation from all parties and the people, said Haji Abdul Rahman Taib, Speaker of the Legislative Council, on Monday.
At the opening of the second session of the council's 21st meeting, he expressed hope that the discussions would be conducted in a strong, mature, and proper manner, focusing on the interests of the people and the nation while addressing queries related to national development.
The Legislative Council acts as a bridge between the government and the people. ■
