JAKARTA, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's state-controlled copper producer, PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI), will continue to prioritize meeting domestic market demand, Vice President of Corporate Communications Katri Krisnati said here on Monday.
"The company's main priority remains meeting the needs of the domestic industry," Krisnati was quoted as saying by local media.
She added that, in addition to supplying the domestic market, PTFI also exports its products to various markets across Asia.
PTFI President Director Tony Wenas noted that the Asian market offers logistical advantages due to its relative proximity. ■
