KABUL, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Three commuters lost their lives as their car diverted from a road in the southern Afghanistan Kandahar province on Monday, Provincial Director for the Traffic department Mullah Bashir Akhund said.
The deadly accident took place in Spin Boldak district this morning, leaving three dead on the spot, including a woman and two men, the official added.
Blaming the driver's carelessness for the mishap, the official added that reckless driving often harms motorists.
An identical accident claimed one life and injured six others in the northern Badakhshan province on Sunday. ■
