ISLAMABAD, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan on Friday announced its cricket squads for two upcoming white-ball series against the West Indies starting later this month.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement that Mohammad Rizwan would lead the One-Day International (ODI) cricket squad as captain for the three-match series, while Salman Ali Agha would serve as skipper for the three Twenty20 Internationals.
The T20 matches are scheduled for July 31, August 2 and 3 at the Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill in the United States, while the ODI matches will be played on August 8, 10 and 12 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad & Tobago.
The 16-member ODI squad includes star batter Babar Azam and pace spearhead Shaheen Shah Afridi, in addition to right-handed batsman Hasan Nawaz, the only uncapped player in the ODI side.
In the T20 squad, fast bowlers Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali and Afridi return to the lineup. The 15-member squad also features Mohammad Haris and Sahibzada Farhan as wicketkeepers.
Pakistan will arrive in the United States on Sunday, after concluding their ongoing three-match T20 series in Bangladesh. ■
