HONG KONG, July 25 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 jolted West of Macquarie Island at 1122 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 55.43 degrees south latitude and 146.41 degrees east longitude. ■
